Remains left after a meeting. The diners have risen from the table leaving a quiet space. Imprint of a conversation. The silence after a talk.

Half-disappeared crockery reminiscent of the immaterial. The white color takes weight off them, takes away their presence.

What attracts me to the set: cup, plate, and teaspoon, is that they represent a moment. A small moment, as small are the objects.

Drinking a coffee is not a useful act like eating, but something + idle + mental. An empty cup of coffee makes me think of a gathering or a moment of reflection, intimacy, a pause.

The intimate life of objects. The coffee or dessert spoon has to do with sweetening, the soup with feeding. A teaspoon full of sugar = transporter of affection, of love.
